OUR TRIP REPORT TO THE MAKING FUN: THE STORY OF FUNKO HOLLYWOOD PREMIERE

JANUARY 21-23, 2018

We had the pleasure of being part of an exclusive guest list of Funko fans that were invited to Hollywood, California to see the World Premiere of the documentary Making Fun: The Story of Funko.  We spent a day and a half seeing the sites and hanging with the Funko Funcast crew and WWE star Zack Ryder at the Scum & Villainy Cantina.  That was amazing on it's own but our first Hollywood Premiere took the cake!  We walked the red carpet to the TCL Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Blvd and were treated to the first viewing of Making Fun: The Story of Funko.  For a huge Funko collector like Dan, the film was an affirmation of why he loves to collect Funko POP! figures.  For Mac it was a history lesson about Funko and both can say that the big take away from the experience is that collecting isn't just about acquiring things.  It's about finding happiness and even therapy with the items we collect (see what we did there?).  It's about being part of a community of like-minded people that all share in a positive experience.

Thanks Funko!

If we didn't have photos we aren't sure we could believe this actually happened!

Wait! More Dengar Dan on the red carpet? Yes please!
